Diáspora is a contemporary and versatile Latin band, creating fantastic live entertainment for parties, weddings, events (private & corporate) and venues and festivals. Since 2009, the band has continuously developed its own unique brand of high quality, live entertainment in response to the requests of their agents and promoters, by adding different musical elements to the large ensemble such as dance, DJ, jazz and string quartets and guest artists, and broadening their range of repertoire. Based in London UK, they are able to travel nationally and internationally if booked far enough in advance. The band comes in a range of 8 sizes, from the full 12-piece band right down to the small 5-piece band, and also offers a smaller band Fiesta Latina.

MEDIUM BAND (7-8 PIECE)The medium-sized band provides a more affordable option for smaller events.
SMALL BAND (5-6 PIECE)The small band can play a vibrant mix of salsa and Latin jazz for more intimate settings and occasions.
FIESTA LATINA (1-4 PIECE)For anything smaller than the 5-piece, Rory hops from sax to piano and brings Fiesta Latina instead. Head on over to www.fiesta-latina.co.uk for more info. Fiesta Latina can also be booked at a discount rate when booked as a support act alongside Diáspora.

Since 2023, Diáspora is open access. What does this mean? It means that the musicians are booked directly by the hirer, rather than the bandleader. Due to popular demand, the hirer knows exactly which musicians will be performing. Rory will a) check musicians' availability and b) refer you to the musicians individually for the formal bookings.
